This is the London Bridge Ensemble's eagerly awaited fifth spring celebration of chamber music and song. As always it features masterpieces of the repertoire, but also a few rarer gems which will surprise and delight you. The Saturday Schubertiade, so popular with the audience and musicians alike, makes a welcome return. It includes the composer's bleak yet sublime string quartet Death and the Maiden and his wonderful collection of songs Schwangengesang.
The Saturday Pass offers entry to events on Saturday 21 April as follows:
10.45am coffee at Winchester Discovery Centre followed by a concert at 11.30am.
Concert at Winchester Discovery Centre at 6.00pm and concert at St Lawrence Church at 9.45pm.
