Press and Communications Officer
Live Theatre Winchester Trust (LTWT), which incorporates Hat Fair and Theatre Royal Winchester, is looking for a Press and Communications Officer.

This is an important role within the organisation to help us expand our media reach by highlighting all aspects of the charity’s work and thereby raising our profile locally, regionally and nationally.

The Press and Communications Officer role will also help us listen and respond to our audiences better, enabling us to improve the customer experience.

Finance Manager – Part time
Live Theatre Winchester Trust, which incorporates Theatre Royal Winchester and Hat Fair, is looking for a part time Finance Manager.

This role manages the accounts, payroll and all aspects of financial record keeping and transactions. This includes producing monthly management accounts using Excel as well as Sage 50, and developing and monitoring annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Significant experience of financial management is required, including responsibility for tax, VAT and other statutory obligations. An interest in theatre and the arts, experience of managing finances in the charitable sector and financially managing capital refurbishment projects will be an advantage.

Fundraising Manager
Live Theatre Winchester Trust, which incorporates Theatre Royal Winchester and Hat Fair, is looking for a Fundraising Manager.

In this newly created position, the Fundraising Manager will play an important role within the Marketing and Communications team to support the delivery and development of the charity’s new fundraising strategy and its implementation across the organisation, with the intention of increasing our fundraised income.

Housekeeper
Theatre Royal Winchester is seeking to employ a flexible and reliable relief cleaner to look after the buildings housekeeping needs, specifically covering holidays, sickness and busy periods. You will be expected to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness within the building. Hours are variable to compliment the theatre’s programme of work. An ability to work at weekends, Bank Holidays and throughout festive periods is essential.

Front of House volunteers
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers of all ages to join our friendly Front of House team.

Volunteering is one of the best ways to gain valuable experience of working in a theatre and to add a string to your bow for future employment. It’s a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and become part of our lovely theatre.

  • You make our audiences feel welcome and comfortable, and ensure they leave with a smile on their face.
  • You don’t have to commit to a lot of time (unless you want to!) and we’d love to have you on board.

Painter/Decorator Volunteers

The maintenance team work alongside the Maintenance Manager carrying out general maintenance tasks at Theatre Royal Winchester.

We are currently looking for a volunteer Painter/ Decorator to join the team 2 days a week. This volunteer position is ideal for anyone who has DIY or Painting knowledge.
