We’re excited to reveal that our much-loved traditional family pantomime for 2025 will be Puss in Boots, running from Saturday 29 November 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026 - and tickets are on sale now!
For the first time ever at Theatre Royal Winchester, we’ll bring the classic story of Puss in Boots to life. It tells the tale of Colin, the poor miller's son with no money, no job, and little hope of impressing the beautiful Princess - until his clever cat, Puss, steps in to save the day!
Expect daring adventures, hilarious misunderstandings, and plenty of heart as Colin and Puss set out to change their fortunes.
This brand-new production will be written and directed by Robin Belfield, with original songs and music composed by Simon Slater. True to our tradition, the show promises classic pantomime fun - full of corny jokes, audience participation, and plenty of festive magic - all performed by a talented ensemble of actors, actor-musicians, and young local performers.
The production will offer a range of accessible performances, including relaxed, audio-described, and BSL-interpreted shows, ensuring everyone can enjoy the magic of panto.
Tickets start from just £12, with special discounts available for schools and group bookings on selected performances. We encourage audiences to book early to secure the best seats at the best prices!
The full cast announcement will be made later this year. Look our soon for an opportunity to join our Community Ensemble.
The pantomime is proudly supported by regional law firm Paris Smith.
