Swim Sistas is a poetic, visually striking celebration of water, sisterhood, and resilience across generations of Black women. Featuring the voice of Academy Award nominee Naomie Harris (Moonlight) as Mami Wata, the film traces stories of joy, barrier-breaking, and courage as Black women reclaim their place in the water and in history.
Female established inclusive grassroots Skateboarding communities based in the North, UK. From mountains in the Lake District to Blackpool promenade. These skate collectives were created to provide a safe space and welcoming environment for female and LGBTQ+ skaters in the area.
