This September we’re inviting you to take part in our cheekiest fundraising challenge yet – The Emergency Loo Roll Giveaway. It’s all in aid of our appeal to refurbish the Theatre Royal Winchester stalls toilets.
Here’s how it works:

44 winners will each get their very own toilet roll (yes, really!)

1 lucky winner will take home the legendary ‘Who Gives a Crap’ Orange Emergency Roll AND a VIP Panto Package for this year’s Puss in Boots.
It’s a playful way to raise vital funds, with every entry helping us save our loos for the future.
How to Enter the Prize Draw

Each entry costs £5. Multiple entries are allowed – every £5 = one entry.

Enter by making a £5 donation via our Crowdfunder page or in person at the Theatre Royal Winchester Box Office during September 2025.

Free entry option: Send your name and contact details to The Emergency Loo Roll Giveaway, Play to the Crowd, Theatre Royal Winchester, Jewry Street, Winchester, SO23 8SB. Entries must arrive before 17:00 on 30 September 2025.

Why We’re Doing This
Our theatre loos have worked hard for decades and urgently need upgrading. By joining in with the Give a Crap: Save Our Toilets campaign, you’ll help us complete this final phase of refurbishment and make Theatre Royal Winchester welcoming for everyone.

Entry is open to UK residents aged 18+ only.

Play to the Crowd staff and trustees are not eligible.

Donations must be made between 4–30 September 2025 to count as an entry.

Each £5 donation = 1 entry; multiple entries are allowed. Free entry by post as detailed above.

Prize draw closes on 30 September 2025. Winners selected at random by Play to the Crowd.

Winners will be contacted directly and must respond within 14 days to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes may be reallocated.

Toilet rolls can be collected from Theatre Royal Winchester. The VIP package will be arranged directly with the winner.

No cash alternative is available.

By entering, participants consent to their name and image being used publicly if they win.
