Cafe Bar Jazz Night: Marvin Muoneké

Presented in conjunction with Winchester Jazz Festival.

Marvin Muoneké dubs himself as The Young Man with The Old Soul and once you hear his voice and style, you'll understand why.

Just over two years since his first and sold out appearance, Marvin and his band are extremely excited to be back at Theatre Royal Winchester's Cafe Bar once again for another great evening of Jazz.

Marvin is a singer-songwriter and performing artist with a voice that has been often referred to as rich, deep and smooth.

A voice that is heavily influenced by the likes of Nat 'King' Cole, Paul Robeson, Billy Eckstine, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Tormé, to name but a few.

Bringing the songs and sounds of mid-20th century jazz and popular music to modern listeners of all ages, Marvin possesses a rare and beautiful presence that can light up any audience of any venue within seconds.

Marvin appeared as a hopeful contestant on The Voice UK in 2016 and more recently as a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2018, and since then, in addition to performing to hundreds of people at various nightclubs and theatres throughout his career, Marvin has risen to take his place as one of the most sought after vocalists in the South West of England.

"He rocked it! Well, he swinged it!"

Joe Stilgoe

"When Muoneké's vocals hit, you really get why he thinks he has an old soul... his voice has a rich depth with a smoothness that is next to none."
