About Brilliant Beings

“You’re probably doing better than you think”

Rich Lansley is a writer, performer and flawed person.

Part stand-up, part sit down poet.

Following from his sold out 2025 one man show A Hundred Small Things, Rich Lansley brings us his most personal, surprising and ground-breaking show ever.

A balance of whimsical comedy and honest reflection, Brilliant Beings tells a gentle story of a momentous, life-changing event that happened to Rich in 2023 and the journey it set him on in search of happiness.

This show is written for your hearts.

Rich was a keynote TedX speaker, has performed at various festivals and events all over the country including the prestigious Cheltenham Poetry Festival, and supported world slam poetry champion Harry Baker.

Brilliant Beings is a deeply important piece of theatre that shines a light on mental health with honesty, compassion and hope.
