Hannah is Senior Creative Producer at Play to the Crowd, where she is passionate about creating work that brings people together and reflects the communities it is made with. She collaborates with artists and community groups to shape stories and create inclusive, meaningful experiences.
Hannah also works as a freelance Director and Dramaturg and holds an MA in Directing from Birkbeck University and a degree in Creative Writing and Drama Studies from the University of Winchester. She was previously Resident Assistant Director at Birmingham REP and Finborough Theatre. One of her favourite experiences was directing a flash mob with 50 community cast at Birmingham New Street Station to promote Emma Rice's show Brief Encounter.
She is a trained facilitator with a BSL Level 2 qualification and in 2022 led the work to achieve Theatre of Sanctuary status at Play to the Crowd. She is also a Trustee of The Playhouse Foundation, supporting children with autism and their families.
Hannah is a mum, and her son was born the week of her first Hat Fair festival. An interesting fact about Hannah is that when she was young she had two pet ducks called Hercules and Olympia!
