Rose is primarily responsible for the operational management of Hat Fair, which includes programming, oversight of production and supporting the community engagement programme presented. She also assists with the year round programme of outreach and engagement work across our charity, as well as Winchester's Contemporary Performance Week (RAW).
Rose started volunteering with Hat Fair in 2012 and has been part of its journey ever since, becoming an important part of the team along the way. No two years are the same, and she loves the fresh challenges and excitement each festival brings. Her part-time role also allows her to explore freelance event work, where she continues to learn new skills and bring fresh ideas back to the organisation — giving her the best of both worlds.
Rose describes herself as a a fixer without a gun. She's astonished at how often she uses her skills gained as a former night club manager in the arts and events industry!
