Pronouns: she/her
Valérie's role takes operational responsibility for human resources and the development, implementation and management of policies and procedures.
Valérie grew up in France, where she studied Political Science at La Sorbonne University. Alongside her studies, she did a Freelance contract at UNESCO working on a conference on Cultural Diversity and on the publication of the World Philosophy Day proceedings. She then spent a few years in Australia before moving to England.
Valérie has been with Play to the Crowd since 2018 and has played a key role in shaping how the organisation supports its people. Over the years she has led a range of developments within HR, introducing thoughtful policies and processes that promote staff wellbeing.
She is also actively involved in the organisation's commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, helping drive meaningful change across the charity.
Alongside this, Valérie brings NT Live and Royal Ballet and Opera screenings to Theatre Royal Winchester, making great theatre and dance accessible to local audiences.
She also supports the production of our much-loved annual pantomime, because no year is complete without a bit of panto magic.
In her non-existent spare time between working for the charity and having lots of fun with her children, Valérie loves knitting and sewing her own clothes.
