Bring your team backstage at Theatre Royal Winchester. Our dedicated Meeting Room blends the focused privacy of a professional workspace with the creative energy of a historic operational theatre.
Measuring approximately 6m x 5m, this quiet backstage room features excellent natural light and is ideal for board meetings, staff training sessions, corporate presentations, workshops, or independent play rehearsals.
Modern hybrid facilities
Distance is no barrier to a productive meeting. Our space features reliable Wi‑Fi and is fully set up for straightforward hybrid video conferencing. The room includes:
- A crisp, large‑format presentation screen.
- An integrated wide‑angle camera to easily capture everyone around the table.
- Clear, dynamic microphones ensuring remote participants can follow the conversation easily.
Capacity layouts
- Boardroom style: Up to 16 delegates comfortably.
- Presentation style: Up to 30 attendees.

Meeting room pricing (From 1st April 2026)
All rates are exclusive of VAT.
- Short Hire 1‑3 hours: £100
- Half Day Hire 4‑6 hours: £180
- Full Day (Mon – Thu) max. 12 hours: £280
- Full Day (Fri – Sun & Bank Holidays) max. 12 hours: £350
Supporting local non-profits: Local charities, community groups, and cultural non-profit organisations receive an automatic 20% discount on all standard Meeting Room hire rates.
Our dedicated Hospitality and Social Enterprise Manager is also available to support your team's catering and refreshment needs throughout the day.
